At FLEXSTAFF we are currently seeking candidates for on-call General Clerical positions throughout the Salem and Portland area. Duties would include: answering phones, mailings, photocopying, filing, working on special projects, and other basic office tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ Months of previous office experience
  • accurate typing
  • attention to detail (filing)
  • knowledge of WORD and EXCEL
  • can manage time and prioritize
  • able to work with minimal supervision
  • knowledge of basic office equipment

Activities Coordinator/Recreational Therapist-Full Time

Purpose: Provides occupational therapy services to residents by assisting in the treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation and communication.

Functions:

1. Provide occupational therapy and recreational services to residents.
2. Confers formally and informally with other teams members in coordinating the treatment program of the guest.
3. Adhere to procedures regarding documentation of services.
4. Attend staff and planning meetings as scheduled.
5. Projects a positive and professional image at all times.
6. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Associates of Arts degree specializing in Occupational Therapy.
2. Successful completion of the National Certification of O.T.A. and Washington State licensure.
3. Certified in First Aid and CPR
4. Two or more years of hands on experience, preferably working in a hospital setting with the chronically and acutely mentally ill population is required.
5. Two or more years of working with chronically and acutely mentally ill patients, preferably in a hospital setting.

Conditions of Employment:

1. Satisfactory findings on a criminal background search.
2. TB test required within 30 days of hire. Annual TB Test required.
3. Maintain current Washington State licensure and National O.T.A. certification.

Salary: $14.03-$15.46/hr __________________________________________________________________

Employment Specialist-Full Time

Purpose: To assist consumers in obtaining competitive, unsubsidized employment opportunities in the community, using customized employment strategies. Assist consumers to gain vocational training and experience by developing on the job training sites and/or transitional employment opportunities in the community through employer relationships.

Functions:

1. Establish relationships and employment opportunities with employers in the community in order to develop competitive employment and OJT sites for consumers. This may include conducting a job analysis and/or facilitating presentations to potential employers and participating in local community service organizations.
2. Assist consumers in obtaining competitive employment by facilitating exploration of job interests and skills using a person-centered approach.
3. Consult on resume preparation and employment opportunities, practice interviewing, and aiding in job search as needed.
4. Provide follow-up support for employed consumers individually or in a group setting. Provide follow-up and support for employers as well.
5. Model a positive attitude within the program by continually interacting with members and pointing out strengths and accomplishments.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, or
2. Associates of Arts degree, or
3. COTA plus two years of related experience, or
4. 5 or more years experience in related field may be considered a substitute for education.

Employment Therapist I: Chemical Dependency Professional- Part Timee

Purpose: To provide addiction and mental health therapy to consumers enrolled in services. This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week.

Functions:

1. Provide clinical services to include chemical dependency/mental health assessment, treatment planning, individual and/or group therapy to consumers.
2. Provide crisis intervention services to assigned consumers as necessary
3. Establish appropriate and therapeutic relationships with assigned clients.
4. Maintain all required paperwork/charting requirements as established by agency contracts.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in human services.
2. Washington State Department of Health certification of the Chemical Dependency Program (CDP).
3. Experience providing therapy to chronically mentally ill adults with a chemical dependency diagnosis.
4. Master’s degree plus experience and certification as a CDP strongly preferred.

Employment Therapist II: Discharge Planner, Inpatient-Full Time

Purpose: Coordinate and participate in all Inpatient Evaluation and Treatment services. In coordination with guest, families, and community partners, perform discharge planning and utilization management.

Functions:

1. Complete initial intake evaluations and provide direct service to consumers and family members.
2. Create all discharge plans; assist in planning and coordination of discharges as needed with guests, families, and community partners.
3. Develop, monitor, evaluate, and update individual treatment plans in conjunction with client and treatment team.
4. Provide individualized attention, which encourages client’s ability to maintain the highest physical, mental and psychosocial well being.
5. Possess knowledge of client rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for their privacy, dignity and well-being in a safe, secure environment.
6. Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
7. Respond to emergent situations as necessary.
8. Participate in hands-on physical restraint or application of chemical or mechanical restraints as part of team effort in accordance with established policy and procedure for such action.
9. Complete all documentation and charting as required by law or agency contract.
10. Attend staff and planning meetings as scheduled.
11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Necessary Abilities:

1. See, hear and speak in order to interpret and disseminate information.
2. Read, write, and speak English.
3. Bend, stoop, twist and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, in order to participate in non-routine consumer restraint.
4. Sit, stand and walk for varying periods of time.
5. Complete multiple wrist and hand movements daily to complete charts.
6. Input, retrieve and compile data utilizing strong personal computer skills.
7. Work well and maintain composure in stressful, high-pressure situations.
8. Rapidly assimilate and utilize new skills and knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and two years experience in related field.
2. Washington State LICSW licensure strongly preferred.

Conditions of Employment:

3. Maintain current Washington State Registered Counselor or higher-level credential.
4. Possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
5. Unlicensed staff must successfully complete 40 hours of chemical dependency training (offered on premises).

Salary: $15.73-$17.36/hr __________________________________________________________________

Employment Therapist II: Mental Health Professional- Full Time

Purpose: Provide services to adults experiencing acute mental health crisis at an inpatient Evaluation and Treatment facility as a part of a multidisciplinary team. Services provided will include intervention, assessment, and treatment recommendations focusing on mental health issues for people with a mental illness and those with co-occurring disorders.

Functions:

1. Conduct intakes, evaluations and provide therapeutic services.
Assess patient status and determine ongoing need for voluntary or involuntary status.
Conduct treatment groups for residents.
Conduct individual treatment sessions with residents.
Complete all documentation and charting as required by law or agency contract.
Provide individualized attention, which encourages client’s ability to maintain the highest physical, mental and psychosocial well being.
Possess knowledge of client rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for their privacy, dignity and well-being in a safe, secure environment.
Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
Assist in physical consumer transfers and takedowns, only in instances where restraint becomes the last resort.

Necessary Abilities:

1. See, hear and speak in order to interpret and disseminate information.
2. Read, write, and speak English.
3. Bend, stoop, twist and lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis.
4. Sit, stand and walk for varying periods of time.

Employment Therapist II: Child Therapist

Purpose: As a Mental Health Professional and Child Mental Health Specialist you will provide direct services for children and families with Universal authorizations from the Clark County Pre-paid Health Plan in accordance with contractual obligations. Services may include case management, coordination and consultation, individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Teams with Peer Parent Supporter.

Functions:

1. Conducts Mental Health Assessments and functional, family-based, strengths based assessments, develops Individualized Treatment Plans, 180 Day Outcomes, and Discharge Summaries for participants to meet all WAC, Title XIX, and RSN requirements.
2. Provides service delivery documentation on client mental health services and maintains agency documentation requirements, both electronically and on paper, in accurate and timely manner.
3. Communicates treatment and other needs and plans to other staff members.
4. Monitors and adjusts interventions in collaboration with client and family for their changing needs.
5. Conforms to agency treatment model and practices, including attainment of 55% billable hours per pay period.
5. Works effectively with the staff multidisciplinary team and adjunct professionals regarding needs of consumers for assuring appropriate course of treatment.
6. Demonstrates professional standards of ethics and safety in interactions and treatment of clients, their families and all others related to employment.
7. Provides liaison with community service agencies.
8. Performs other duties as assigned. Duties may take place both on- and off premises.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must meet Washington State standards for designation as a Child Mental Health Specialist.
2. Masters Degree in a human services discipline and a minimum of two years providing treatment to mentally ill persons, with one year of the experience in treatment of seriously disturbed children, adolescents, and their families, the experience supervised by a Child Mental Health Specialist.
3. Must possess Washington State “Registered Counselor” or higher credential.

2. TB test required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter as a condition of continued employment.
3. Reliable Transportation and state minimum auto insurance requirements.
