At FLEXSTAFF we are currently seeking candidates for on-call General Clerical positions throughout the Salem and Portland area. Duties would include: answering phones, mailings, photocopying, filing, working on special projects, and other basic office tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ Months of previous office experience
  • accurate typing
  • attention to detail (filing)
  • knowledge of WORD and EXCEL
  • can manage time and prioritize
  • able to work with minimal supervision
  • knowledge of basic office equipment

Employment Positions: Case Manager I

Purpose: Provide effective home based, vocational, and community supported advocacy, consultation, and coordination of support for youth, young adults identified in need of youth in transition services.

Functions:

1. Establish a supportive and helpful relationship with the youth in transition and other identified important relationships.
2. Locate and arrange for participation in appropriate services within the agency and in the community for youth/young adults.
3. Monitor progress as outlined in the service delivery plan.
4. Act as liaison for youth/young adults between schools, DCFS, Employment Security, other community agencies, etc., as needed.
5. Access available professional resources, literature, research and training materials.
6. Keep supervisor informed of youth/young adult status.
7. Model a positive attitude within the program by continually interacting with members and pointing out strengths and accomplishments.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of strength-based interventions across home, school, and community settings.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in the human service or related field plus one year of vocational rehabilitation experience.
2. Experience working with youth in transition and vocational services desired.

Employment Therapist I: Brief Services

Purpose: To provide psychiatric, time limited therapies to consumers enrolled in agency services as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Functions:

1. Provide clinical services to include assessment, treatment planning, individual and/or group therapy to consumers.
2. Provide crisis intervention services to assigned clients as necessary.
3. Establish appropriate and therapeutic relationships with assigned clients.
4. Maintain all required paperwork / charting requirements as established by agency contracts.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in a human services discipline (or the ability to obtain a Master’s Degree within 3 months of appointment into this position) is required.
2. Possession of current valid Washington State Department of Health Registered Counselor or higher credential.

Employment Therapist II: Adult Case Management

Purpose: Work with therapy clients teaching coping skills, behavioral
interventions, symptom management, crisis intervention, case management duties,
updating and initiating paperwork.

Functions:

1. Provide clinical services to include assessment, treatment planning, community outreach, individual and/or group therapy to consumers.
2. Maintain all documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, crisis plans, life domain checklists, releases, discharges, and other records required by WAC.
3. Establish appropriate and therapeutic relationships with assigned clients.
4. Do intake assessments and all related intake paperwork.
5. Provide crisis intervention services to assigned clients as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in a human services discipline is required.
2. Must possess a current Washington State Registered Counselor credential.
3. Two years experience working with the mentally ill.

Employment Case Manager I

Purpose: Provide case management for children, youth and their families with
authorizations from the Clark County Pre-paid Health Plan in accordance with contractual obligations. Services may include coordination and consultation, and participation in individual, family, and group therapy. Primarily teams with Child and Family Therapists, Case Manager and Peer Parent Supporters. Position works 30 hours per week.

Functions:

1. Provide case management services to assigned clients to include treatment planning, community outreach, and supportive counseling as needed.
2. Establish appropriate and therapeutic relationships with assigned clients.
3. Provide individual and/or family information about counseling and/or education about mental illness as needed.
4. Maintain all required paperwork / charting requirements as established by agency contracts.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in the human service or related field.
2. Prefer two years experience working with seriously disturbed children, adolescents, and families.
3. Must possess current valid Washington State Registered Counselor credential.

Employment Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner

Purpose: To provide psychiatric evaluation and prescriptive services to mental health patients. To provide information and education about mental illness and medications to patients, staff, students, volunteers, and the community. To provide consultation and clinical services to nursing staff as needed.

Functions:

1. Provide routine and emergency psychiatric medication evaluation, monitoring, and management for consumers.
2. Occasionally provide other nursing services for consumers to include injections, medication refills, blood pressure checks, and medical assessments.
3. Provide information and education about mental illness and medications used to treat it to consumers, staff, and community as needed.
4. Consult with primary treatment providers as needed to ensure clinically sound services.
5. Complete all charting and documentation as required by current law.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Current Washington State RN license
2. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority.
3. Must have experience prescribing psychiatric medications to the chronically mentally ill population.

3. Maintain current Washington State RN license and Washington State Nurse Practitioner license.
4. Maintain CPR and First Aid training.

Salary: $30-$35/hr __________________________________________________________________

Employment Inpatient Registered Nurse – Hotel Hope (Full-Time)

Purpose: To provide medical services at the Hotel Hope Evaluation and Treatment facility for adults in acute need of medical detox or mental health services. This is a full-time position working 5 shifts per week. Shifts are regularly scheduled as either daytime (7:00 AM until 3:30 PM), swing (3:00 until 11:30 PM) , or graveyard (11:00 PM until 7:30 AM).

Functions:

1. Provide psychiatric nursing services in conjunction with consulting psychiatrist.
2. Conduct admits intake screenings; intake health screenings and complete initial treatment plan for patients admitted to the unit.
3. Provide other nursing services to include review of medical records; medication administration and monitoring for side effects; injections; checking vitals; and health assessments and screenings if needed.
4. Provide information and education about medication, chemical dependency, psychiatry and medications to consumers, staff, and community as needed.
5. Assist to maintain current supply of all necessary medications and supplies.
6. Complete all charting and documentation as required by law and agency contracts.
7. Conduct UA’s as necessary.
8. Assist with ADL’s to include personal hygiene.
9. Possess knowledge of client rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for their privacy, dignity and well-being in a safe, secure environment.
10. Assist with daily nutritional and hygiene needs of the resident therapy dog.
11. Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
12. Assist with consumer physical transfers and take downs, only in instances where restraint becomes the last resort to ensure safety.
13. Ensures that the client is evaluated by an MHP within two hours of restraint or seclusion.
14. Maintain communication and cooperative working relationships both within the agency and community at large.
15. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must possess current valid Washington State RN licensure.
2. Two years experience working with chemically dependent and mentally ill adults and current knowledge of psychopharmacology are strongly preferred. Credentialing as a phlebotomist and inpatient psychiatry or detox experience preferred.

Salary: $18.89-$28.39/hr __________________________________________________________________

Employment Psychiatrist, Adult Services

Purpose: To provide psychiatric services to adult patients of Columbia River
Mental Health Services. This is a full-time position.

Functions:

1. Provide direct psychiatric services to consumers by evaluations, assessments, routine, and emergency medical visits as well as consultation services.
2. Provide clinical consultations to medical and clinical staff as needed/required.
3. Provide on-going medication monitoring with clients by routine evaluation and consultations with nursing staff.
4. Maintain all required charting / paperwork requirements as defined by agency contracts or payer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Current Washington physician licensed to practice psychiatry, board eligible, board certified preferred.
2. Two years experience practicing psychiatry.
3. Experience in a community mental health center preferred.
